Our dog Daisy was a compulsive barker. Not at strangers and cars, but at us. In surges of uncontrollable joy, she would bark compulsively at each person’s return. Six people in our family, anyone out of her sight, upon their return she’d bark like one of those wind-up toys. All of us. All the time. Loud and unstoppable. Sure, it was love, but obviously super annoying and frustrating and it was causing discord in our home.
Kate Mullally walked into our house and read Daisy immediately. She spent a lot of time with her and us that first visit, which was just the assessment. In the lessons she gave us clear, printed instructions to follow and worked through problems. Kate checked in regularly to troubleshoot situational problems.

I am a new dog mom and Pepper is my first dog. She's a stubborn, nervous, hyper-anxious puppy. I knew nothing about how to care for a dog, how to read her facial expressions and actions, how to potty train, or how to give her confidence. I was at my wits end when I hired Katie. I was cleaning up potty messes constantly, and couldn't get Pepper to listen. Katie helped me to have more confidence in training Pepper by helping me to read her actions, spot her subtle signals, and react to her appropriately.
She also helped me to recognize when Pepper's behavior toward my cats was concerning and provided solutions. Katie provided a lot of one on one attention, and was very observant and thoughtful when trying to problem solve Pepper's triggers. I also appreciated that she would let me validation and encouragement when I was frustrated because raising a puppy is hard!
Since working with Katie, Pepper has made noticeable progress. She is much more obedient, she rarely has accidents inside the house, and I am enjoying my relationship with my dog more. She also went out of her way to help me find and vet a day care for my dog which was conveniently located, a great price, and with other small dogs like mine. I would recommend Katie for her care, knowledge, and personal attention.
